en orgue
The second project of 2017 gives the opportunity to DA MOTUS! to explore the inner spaces of the Saint-Michael Church in Fribourg (Switzerland). The dance company is offering here three site-specific choreographic pieces in coproduction with the International Organ Festival. Based on three themes choosed for the evening, « Armonia delle sfere », « Movimento ed estasi » and « Moto ostinato », the choreographies will be interpreted by 8 female dancers. The intention through this choice to work exclusively with female interpretes permits us to enhance the feminity in an institution that, since the dawn of time, has been seat of patriarchy, male domination and some kinds of misogyny.
(Freiburger Nachrichten, 25.09.2017, Irmgard Lehmann)
